Core Restore 4 Week Series (Post-Birth)

This 4 week series focused solely on helping you to rediscover, re-connect to, and re-strengthen your core and pelvic floor after having children. Taught by Pre & Postnatal Fitness Expert and Diastasis Recti & Core Rehabilitation Specialists, Sarah Bradford + Stephanie Nelson, we will give you the tools you need to help you build a stronger and more functional core than ever before!

 

Begin to heal from Diastasis Recti & Pelvic Floor incontinence, learn to manage symptoms of pelvic organ prolapse and move in a safer and more supportive way, and restore overall core strength and function.

 

You will be assessed for diastasis recti & core function in the first class of the series. Focus will be on diaphragmatic breathing, correct engagement and release of the pelvic floor & inner core muscles, rehabilitative & strengthening exercises for the inner core & floor, and learning how to apply these techniques to functional daily movements and exercise. We will build off of your individual progress each week. The invaluable tools you will learn in this series will support you for life, and can be applied to any form of movement and exercise you enjoy!

 

Each series is 4 weeks in length and meets weekly for one hour each session. Pre-crawling babies are welcome to attend with mama. In addition to the Core Restore sessions, you will receive unlimited access to attend our other regularly scheduled fitness classes during the 4 weeks! We encourage you to attend at least one other fitness class each week. (Pre-registration for other fitness classes is required. Childcare for those classes is paid separately and not included in the series.)

*Mamas must be at least 4 weeks postpartum to attend. This series is suitable for women with children of all ages!

Join us for this truly incredible and transformative 3 hour workshop led by Clinical Sexologist & Sex + Intimacy Coach, Dr. Namita Caen, and Women's Health Physical Therapist Alicia Willoughby as we explore in depth all things sex and intimacy after having kids, from reconnecting with your own body, to hormonal shifts and how that affects your libido, the common changes in relationship dynamics after becoming parents and how to navigate them, ways to reconnect with your partner, and yourself, the role of the pelvic floor in sex & intimacy and how to heal from pelvic floor issues that may be a contributing factor, to postpartum body image, and SO MUCH MORE!

Core Before 4 Week Series (Prenatal)

This 4 week series focused solely on helping you to create a true connection to your pelvic floor and inner core during your pregnancy, giving you the tools needed to build and maintain a strong, functional inner core unit through your entire pregnancy, heal faster post birth, and help to prevent Diastasis Recti & pelvic floor injury after pregnancy.

 

Taught by Pre & Postnatal Fitness Expert and Diastasis Recti & Core Rehabilitation Specialists, Sarah Bradford + Stephanie Nelson, we will give you the tools you need to help you build a stronger and more functional core than ever before!

 

You will be assessed for overall core + floor function in the first session of the series. Focus will be on diaphragmatic breathing, deep core strengthening techniques, pelvic floor strengthening AND lengthening, as well as how and why to apply these techniques to daily movements as well as exercise. Cultivating a strong inner core during pregnancy can help relieve (and prevent) back pain, sciatic pain, SI joint dysfunction, pelvic girdle pain, and help cultivate more stability, better posture, help assist during labor, potentially shortening pushing time, and keep you feeling strong & comfortable throughout your pregnancy journey!

 

Each series is 4 weeks in length and meets weekly for one hour each session. In addition to the Core Before sessions, you will receive access to attend two of our other regularly scheduled fitness classes per week throughout the series! We encourage you to attend at least one other class each week. (Pre-registration for other fitness classes is required. Childcare for those classes is paid separately and not included in the series.)

LUNA Mamas :: New Mom's Group (0 -12 months) - Every Thursday 12-1pm <<ON HOLD UNTIL FEBRUARY>>

The LUNA Method creates community for mamas in their first year to seek support from other like minded mamas, learn from a variety of birth & parenting professionals, ask questions, get answers, and cultivate lasting relationships.

Each week we will discuss a different topic and once a month we will bring in a different specialist ranging from physical therapists to sleep consultants, lactation consultants, sex & relationship therapists, midwives, doulas, and more! 

Join us on Thursdays at noon and bring your little one along (babies 0-12 mos welcome, no older siblings please) meet other like minded mamas, make lasting & meaningful friendships, get questions answered and join our growing community of mamas! 

This is a FREE offering. Drop ins are welcome!

At The LUNA Method™  we’ve created a community for all women (and their partners) to come together to learn, gain confidence and empowerment through workshops and education. One of the ways we are redefining the status quo for mothers is through progressive workshops and events. While there is an abundance of resources out there for important topics such as childbirth ed, breastfeeding, and infant care, that isn't all there is to motherhood, far from it! Our events and educational workshops focus on the aspects of motherhood that are equally as important, but often less discussed such as balancing work and motherhood, sex & intimacy after children, navigating your relationship as a new parent, a unique + modern approach to childbirth education, sound bath meditations, guest teacher spotlights, meet & greets with doulas, midwives, and other birth professionals, and so much more! Below are descriptions of our current and ongoing offerings and workshops. Additional workshops and events will be updated regularly and will be announced in our newsletter, so be sure to check back and book your spot in advance, as space is limited.
